About Me

Hi, I'm Maddie!

I've been doing hair for 15 years, and I absolutely love what I do. My dad's dad was a barber, so I guess you could say it's in my DNA. My mom always said I even fell asleep getting my haircut when I was little.

 

I started cosmetology school when I was 16, and passed state board before I turned 18. I started in a large salon with a great training program, and  I immediately fell in love with continuing education. I have enjoyed traveling for classes as often as possible, and learning from innovative stylists. Continuing my education has been amazing for staying passionate about my craft, and also building bonds with my fellow hairdressers across the country.

 

In November 2020 I opened MDMH Studio as a way to further my creative freedom. I absolutely love my space and I hope you will too! I strive for my studio to have a positive, inclusive, creative energy where anyone can feel comfortable in my chair. I truly feel I can create my best work with the most relaxed environment for both of us.
